Hey first off, dont worry im okay the fires didnt get to us, they were about ten miles away or so, there was about 80 homes that burnt down i guess, pretty sad, but all will be well. There was a member in the ward that both houses on each side of them burnt down but theres didnt! Crazy. But we are okay the mission president just told us to try not to walk to much, and when we drive in our cars to keep the AC on circulating so we dont breath the smoke. Oh and i did think of my scripture i wanna put up. Its 3 nephi 5:13 Its pretty good, its one we quote in our mission. Also Here is my exact address because we just had transfers this week, and so ill be staying in myrtle beach for at least one more, my comp was made our new district leader! he is the man. Thursday we had Zone conference, and President McConkie said to all of us to approach this conference with reverence as if we were going to the temple, and it started at 6 in the morning. But when we got there we talked for a little bit then president had us all get in cars and start driving, and they played some music that was like praise to the man, and joseph smiths first prayer, and we came to this house and then got out and started walking into these woods, and we got to this place that was a grove of trees and president talked to us, and read some amazing stuff to us about the first vision and then we got to go off as companionships and pray and just think for a while, it was amazing cause it was just like the sacred grove, and i could really feel almost like what joseph saw and felt.it was amazing, the spirit was so powerful. I could feel the sun coming up and it felt like joseph may have felt when he saw the father and the son, and felt there love, and the warmth they bring, i felt that warmth. then we talked about the first vision and restoration at zone conference it was great. President is so knowledgable, and he teaches so well. He is so amazing. I can tell im gunna learn aton from him. He also gave us each a book of mormon to carry in or hand 24/7 we never set it down this way we will gain astronger love for it, and it will be easier to talk about it when we teach and contact when we always have it in hand. If you guys would like to make this goal, and have a book of mormon in hand i would highly recommend it, this way it would make it so much easier to share what we know, we need to get out and tell people about the gospel, we have to open our mouths. We need to find those people our father has prepared. I love carrying it with me, just always having it in hand.

I also noticed this week a big jump in my spanish. im getting alot more confident and able to speak alot better, im still nowhere near perfect... But i can explain and teach much better. I love it. The hispanic people are so amazing. We have been having some great new people to teach and talk to and it seems as if we are really touching them, but its hard to get people to church, they all have really weird schedules, with the way the economy is, and its hard for them to find jobs so its hard to ask them to ask for that time off. But i know the lord will provide a way if they really want to know the truth the lord will provide.

Its so beautiful to get to go out each day to help people and talk about the gospel to them. We have no need to fear for we know its true, we need to share it. That gives me so much confidence knowing the savior is right there helping me, as i go to knock a door i know he will help me to know what to say to help them. I love this work. Im learning alot about people too, about how people are and how to react or how to live with others, cause everyone is different... haha But its great to see so many different types of people to learn from them all. But also the guys we live with had two baptisms last week, so we were way happy for them, but i wanna get someone to that point soon. I really do, i wanna see someone make that covenant and experience that purifying power. I have told myself that it doesnt matter how many i baptize, just as long as the ones i do, stay strong and stay true. That is what i want, i want to help them keep strong and hold fast in christ. We have some people we are teaching that i really think could get to this point we just gotta keep working with them. I cant wait to help them get there.

I love this gospel, i feel so much joy and love in sharing it, im the happiest i have ever been in my life right now. Each day is so amazing, its a miracle each day. The lord has so much in store for those that love him and keep his commandments. We need to get out and share what we have though. I love this work, its a lifetime thing not just a two year.
