Hey y'all! How is everybody doing? How was fathers day? Here in Myrtle beach they gave out snickers bars to the dads in the ward, i got one, they were like for future fathers... haha The weather hasnt been too crazy, its just getting pretty hot. I sweat loads each day. haha Its just SO humid is all. But My companion is from Mercett i think you spell it, its about an hour away from Fresno. But yeah this week was great! we worked way hard we shattered all our goals for this week. We just went at it! I love working with him i have already learned so much from him. My desire to work harder grows and grows each day. I have learned to really work not just hard, but to work effectively. Cause you can stay busy real easy, but you gotta have goals and push yourself, you gotta be like okay we got 4 hours till dinner, lets get at least 4 new investigators then you just go at it! Its great we got to go on splits with the zone leaders this week also. That was way fun i went with Elder Van Noy he is from Vegas, he is a spanish elder he speaks really well. We taught some way good lessons. Also this week we are setting a date with Azucena, she wasnt able to come to church she was sick, but we also have been really working at getting the members to come out and teach with us, and its such a difference, we should always have a memeber there at the lesson. We took this sister in the ward named Sister Lawson to visit azucena with us and they were just friends immediately! they even call eachother now and shcedule things to go do together! what a blessing it is. Sister Lawson is an older lady and is just like a mother figure to her while Maria is gone, before Maria left she told Sister Lawson to help out her daughter. Its so great to see the bond made, we found a few other really cool people. We tracted into a guy from Costa Rica the other day and he is getting baptized on the 11th of July! he is way humble and open. Also we found some other people that are progressing as well. Its such a blessing, just gotta get out and talk to EVERYBODY! American Or Hispanic! We have really learned alot this week from eachother its good to see the changes you make you learn something from each companion, we had a pow wow as an apartment today and we just all talked to eachother and discussed stuff, and its great to build up relationships so that the work can progress as you grow closer as well. We Are really trying our best to do all we can. I know the Lord will bless us for our efforts. I have learned how truly amazing it is to think that im a representative of Jesus Christ. He has called me to labor among his children, to do what he wants done, to say what he wants said, to be a living modern day witness of him at all times. How great of a calling is that, i have to always focus on that and when i do i can do anything. He will provide the way. Im growing in many different ways, spanish, spiritual, physical! Yes im getting to be a big boy. I have bulked up and gained alot more strength even. haha Surprising huh? Well im looking forward to another great week here in South Carolina! i love it out here! Tell Grandma i love her so much! Give her a hug for me. Tell everyone i love them. I love this gospel message. I know that my redeemer lives what comfort this sweet sentence gives!
