First Off.. You guys moved? Wow that was a bit of a surprise. But im glad all is well. And that will be fun to be in the same ward as Kelli and Scott. I was just taken way by surprise. Does it have a pool or anything like that? man thats i crazy! haha Second my little sissy is going to be 18!!!! Crazy! Better behave young lady! Wow growing up is weird. The other two elders are our Zone leaders. They both are spanish elders and in there area this is not many hispanics so thursday they came and did blitzes with us. It was fun one of them is Tongan! Like he lived there he had to learn english and spanish. he is the man. Oh and guess what he is a tukuafu Like his uncle is brother Tukuafu in Aspen ward. And his Uncle is the one that married Ben Mataele's Sister and plays football at Oregon. Crazy man, he is way tight i love them both to death i love the people you meet on the mission. They are my brothers. Ben Mataele is going to New Zealand! Wow that is way cool man.
Oh good news too Martin back in Myrtle beach got baptized last saturday! So i was really happy to hear that and this week Azucena is getting baptized, so two more baptizms i helped bring to pass. Its great to help have a hand in the Lords work and help someone come to the knowledge of the truth. This week was real good too, we had interviews with President and Blitzes with the Zone leaders then we went on Splits with the assistanst too.
We are going to help this family that we are teaching that is building a house right behind the house they are in now. We are going to help paint and do anything we can to help, then after teach them, because we have gotten a real good friendship established, they even came to this ward bbq we had! they speak real good english so it helps out alot, but they need to get married so we gotta get that all figured out first. But we hope to see them baptized very soon.
Alo great scripture. Doctrine and Covenants 6:34-37. I love this scripture. I have learned alot about sacrifice this week again, how i need to plead with the Lord for his help because i know i cant do it on my own, Also that each visit with an investigator is so crucial we need to be excited about the message we share and be profound and testify with boldness, President at interviews taught us about being Lovingly Bold, I want to be better at this cause maybe these visits we hav with investigators is the only time they will get with Missionaries to hear the Gospel, I have to give my all each second of each day, be focused each second, As soon as i wake up at 6:30 im on the Lord's time not mine. Each time i teach i have to testify of the restoration of the gospel, because that is what seperates us from the rest. When we testify of this the spirit will be there. At times we may not want to do something for fear of rejection, fear of not enough strength to do something, not enough knowledge, The lord WILL be there to bear us up. He promises us this in the scriptures. He has lifted me up, i have had days where i thought i had none left but forgot about myself and thought of my Savior and kept going. And we found someone cool that day. This work is so much bigger than just ourselves, Its Marvelous and great, The Lord is there to help us he will never fail us. Each day i push myself a little further I often think oh im just quite that is who i am, the Lord understands that if i dont talk to this person, no the Lord wants to improve and change and make ourselves better go out of our comfort zone, the Lord can make much more out of us than we can make of ourselves. Like the scripture he who saveth his life shall lose it in the end, but he who loseth his life for my sake, he shall save it in the end. I want to lose my life in the service of my savior. Be his servant always do wants he wants done always. I love this gospel and know without a doubt its true. Let it change us and make us better. I love you all take care.
