Dear Family,

Well we had a good week but the only sad thing was it was still a hard week for us at church. People commit but they just dont show up, alot of the hispanics out here are a bit lazy when it comes to things like church. But we will not give up. We actually found some really cool people this last week too. Saturday night we had a little miracle happen as well. We were going around visiting all those that had committed to come to church and all that and we were just getting rejected door after door, each person just kept saying they had stuff going on, then i just inside started beggind and pleading in my heart that we would have somebody that would be strong. Then i get a thought to go and visit this investigator we had found a week or so back to remind her about church. So we go there and im praying the whole drive over there, we get out go knock on her door a few times, and there is nobody there. So we decide to knock a few houses around there, the very first door we knock we contact them and they invite us in, we get to talking and turns out the girl we had contacted was baptized into the church back in mexico, and had moved here but didnt know where the church was, and had loved so very much going to church and had still been reading the Book of Mormon, we invited her to church then turns out the house we were at ws not here house she didnt live there, but it was her friends and her and her brothers and sisters were just staying there, and she had two little sisters and a little brother who are ages 11,10,10. All baptismal age and want to come to church as well!!! And the lady that lived at the house was interested as well but she was working on sunday, but they did not come to church, maybe cause they went back to there house later that night but we are definitely going to go visit them this week. Man i came out of that house and just about yeled out for joy. Cause i really was just begging and pleading cause it was just crazy the rejection we were getting,My son wasnt exactly sure what was going on and why is was so happy until i explained it to him... haha Then he just flipped out and yelled with joy. So the Lord will truly bring us to our very lowest at times, but he will always lift us up and brngs us even higher at times! Also yesterday we recieved a message on our phone that this man had ordered a video from the church and so we went over to give it to him, and turns out he has family in texas that are members and his son had been tught by missionaries a few years back but last contact. This man had not wanted anything to do with religion his whole life. But had been truly humbled and when he heard the message of the restoration it touched him we applied it to him, and committed him to be baptized in about three weeks and he accepted, he was in tears as well as his wife who was present durng the lesson because she had seen achange in her husband. So we are seeing miracles here the Lord is rewarding us for our hard work and sacrifice, We had a district meeting this last friday and i basically just planned it around the savior and his miracles, and just trying to get the Elders in my district pumped and remebering all the miracle sthey have already seen. I poured out my heart and bore my testimony with all that was in me, so that they could feel the excitement i have for the work. Then this sunday my district had 7 new people with baptismal dates. The Lord is truly blessing us. Because all it takes is Obedience, Sacrifice, and lots of Hard Work. I love yall so much and hope yall have an amazing week! Keep up the Excitement about this work. Give out book of Mormons to friends talk about it at work. Do it all its so worth it. Take care tell everyone i said hi... P.s. Last friday i hit my One year mark..... Yikes i dont like counting time. But the Zone leaders somehow found out and made a big deal of it. haha But i got only one year left i gotta make it 100 times better! I gotta finish the rest at full steem! Love yall Take care Your all the best.

Love always,
Elder Michael Riding
