March 15, 2010

Hey everyone!

Well another great week here in Greenville, we had interviews this week with President McConkie, i love those, We also had some really amazing miracles happen. We have been teaching this lady and her son for a little while and we didnt think they would go to far cause they belong to another church, but they came to church last week, but then we go over to teach them after church yesterday, and we teach them about the restoration, and we do a kneeling prayer where the mother, her name is Daisy. Offers up the prayer. She then gets up and is looking really emothional, and she asks us... What steps do i have to take to be baptized? Holy smokes! Best thing anybody could say to a missionary! So we told her, and she is not married to her husband so we are going to try and put together a wedding in two weeks so that she can be baptized on the 27th of this month! its gunna take alot of work, but this is what its all about. We also had the couple that came to church last week, Marvin and Lammett they came to church again yesterday and loved it! So they will be preparing for the 27th as well! so we could be having a busy few weeks. Man the Lord has blessed us so very much, for the struggle and sacrifice we have made. I know the Lord is mindful of us. He has answered our prayers. Man im excited for this coming week. It is going to be amazing. Sorry this email is short just know im doing great. My new companion is doing awesome. He is growing so much. He struggles a little cause the mission is hard, but the Lord will help him, im trying my best to be tghe best example i can to him. I love this work so much, i know my Savior lives. i know he loves us. Also yesterday the speaker for Sacrament meeting showed up late and while they were waiting they called on me to give a impromtu talk. I spoke about obedience to the Commandments and how the Lord promises to prosper us. haha It was funny, the Branch here is awesome, my spanish is growing as well. Man we are going to have some crazy weeks to come. Love yall so much, great to hear about everyone. Know that i love you and my prayers are with you. Let me know if i can do anything to help.
