Man what a week!
Well this week was great! Victor was baptized and confirmed a member of the church! Elder Pineda got to baptize him, it was sucha great experience. There were some barriers to the baptism like someone had stolen the key to the baptismal font but all in all it was great! His whole family came! All three of his kids his wife sister and mother came. After the baptism we did a little tour of the church and we sang for them in the chapel elder Pineda and I. Then the branch had a little dinner for fathers day. So it was a great day. Elder Pineda said that he haas really missed me in just the few days he has been away. haha He was crying a bit, I also saw elder Allred at transfers and he came up and just hugged me and was like " Oh my gosh you dont know how much i have missed you!" He started to cry too, I have really tried my very best to love all my companions and i have made eternal friends because of it. Oh The rest of Victor's family at least two of his kids and wife we are going to try and get baptized on the 10th of july! Keep your fingers crossed. We have a family home evening planned with a member of the branch presidency on friday and victor and his family are going to come, and there we are going to commit them to get baptized. It will be a great experience. Man im really excited. I pray that this family will be able to get baptized. It has been a miracle so far. My new companion is Elder Williams. It was funny he was in the zone already and he just moved up here to greenville to be with me. haha I actually had guessed i would serve with him. haha He is a missionary that has been struggling a bit in the mission. So it is my job to love him and hlp him grow and become better. Im excited h is a good guy. He is Half american and half venezualen. He is still learning spanish though, he struggles with the biking though. I try my very best to help him. I can tell im going to learn alot from him. The zone is doing great we got alot of really great missionaries here in the zone! We have alot of people coming up to get baptized in july in the zone. So everything is going great. Man Elder Pineda is great, I miss him, he was so happy to be a part of Victor's baptism. They hugged after Elder Pineda baptized him, Victor and Elder Pineda did. Man Bringing souls unto Christ. I LOVE it! I wish i could baptize every week. its great. I also had a three hour long talk with Elder Puhlmann on Sunday after church. I pretty much just poured my guts out to him and prayed to help him. He is struggling so much and doesnt feel that he is good enough and that because he has not baptized he is a failure. We talked for a while, but it wa necessary, then we prayed to gether and i had him pray for Dan Moore and just tried to help Elder Puhlmann be sincere he seems to not have much faith in the Savior. Hopefully all will be well now. He seems alot better now. Well i love this work so very much, I love each chance i get to help others out. It is such a blessing to be with new companions and learn from them. Most importantly to get to love them. I know this is the Lord's church Thomas Monson is a prophet of god. the Savior suffered for us. We must do all we can to bring his children unto him. There are people out there that suffer, cry, because they dont know or have the hope we do. We must bring it to them. Thanhs Dad for sending me that stuff. I Appreciate it. The people in the Pictures were Vicki at her baptism and the people that she lives with. Im doing great continue to have me in your prayers. I love you all so much. Im so happy for everyone and the blessings that they are seeing. Take care y;'all!
Love,
Elder Riding
