Dear Family,
Hows you guys doing? Sounded like an eventful week. And man Clint is gunna bea daddy soon! Crazy. Man seems like just yesterday we were picking him up from the Airport off his mission. Man time flies. Well Victor is doing great! He came to church again and he brought his son and daughter and his two nephews whose ages are. 17, 14, 13,13 all baptismal age and next week he is bringing his wife and other son. We are really working so hard at getting them to church and feeling the spirit. Victor after Sunday school said, "Thank you so much for finding me again. Im so grateful to be back at church." We are going to do all that we can to help him and his family do all they can to be baptized. Im so excited. I have never baptized a family before. It would really be my dream. An entire family dressed in white! Keep them in your prayers. We had a good interviews with president McConkie this past week. He pretty much rebuked the zone cause there is alot of disobedience and mutiny going on. They dont want to heed to his counsil. That is something i have seen so much lately if you do what your leaders tell you to, and follow the rules you will be happy. Its the same in normal every day life. The mission really is like a refiner's fire. You have to endure to the end. Then Yesterday we found out about some crazy plot by some missionaries in our zone to overthrow president McConkie. So we had a fun drive down to Columbia at like 8 at night and had to meet with President and tell him all about it. Man Being a zone leader is intense. i never would have thought. haha My companion is doing real good. He continues to work hard. We had a really spiritual lesson this last week. We had a family home evening with Vicki our recent convert and the couple that she lives with. We watched the testaments with them. It was so very spiritual. We watched it and bore testimony and sang a song to them and everyone was in tears, we want her rommates to get baptized too. ey was 9 of us there and counting 3 missionaries. We all knelt and prayed. Man it was such a beautiful experience i cried for a little bit. That is what our heavenly father wants to see. Families on there knees in prayer unto him. That was probably one of the most spiritual lessons of my mission. I know that these things are true and that families really can be together forever. If we truly do all that we can to keep the Lord's commandments the Lord will find a way to help us through. We must first do our part though. Im so grateful to my Savior Jesus Christ he helps me through each and every little trial i have. Sometimes i really have no strength but the Lord pushes me along. It is getting real humid here and we bike all day. So... im basically wet all day long. haha I sweat alot. Well i hope all is well for everyone back home. Keep me in your prayers and Vicotr and his family. They need this gospel so much. I love you all so much. Keep up the great work, kep being examples.
Love,
Elder Riding
