Great week

Dear Family,
Hey everyone how are you doing?? Man that is so so cool that Jon was made the new branch president in the spanish branch out there, man spanish branches are the best! Man i wanna go there when i get back! Man we gotta get Mom and Dad and Ashley speaking some spanish too, then just the whole family will almost be able to speak! Well thias last week was a pretty good week. Some really great highlights from the last week is that the Rosales family, the less active family came once again to church and really enjoyed it, we are working with getting the Father baptized on the 11th of September. He is a really great guy, that has really had a change of heart. He didnt like the church at all before, but now he is reading and praying and coming to church, the very basics but the very best way to know and get an answer. He is a real great guy, also something really cool, President McConkie put on a missionary fireside in the Greenville stake last night and Victor was asked to speak at it. Keep in mind Victor is from Zacatecas Mexico, but he has been in the states for almost 20 years he actually speaks really great english, but he had never given a talk or even a testimony in church before but he got up and gave his testimony in english, i was up by his side just in case if he needed translation, he did so good!!! He was real nervous but man he is such a humble guy, he reminds me of a hispanic version of Dad. His Daughter Maria was like Dad i didnt understand a word you said, haha but he did awesome, he just said how he still doesnt feel that he knows much, but something has really just touched his heart and helped him change and be much happier, he told of the great blessing to see that the rest of his family had made the decision to be baptized and how happy he was! I cant express how happy i was, seeing a man so humble that i have really grown to love just get up there and share the deep feelings of his heart and do it in another language and man he did great! Also on Saturday the branch had a missionary picnic where we the 6 missionaries in the branch got to share a lesson with the branch and all the investogator friends that came, it was great we had like 20 investigators there and some less actives as well. The other cool part was that after the picnic they had a little 8 year old girl that turned 8 that day that was getting baptized, the branch president President Roman asked if i would baptize her, i guess the Mom wanted me to as well. So i got to baptize a little 8 year old girl too. it was great she was a cute little girl, she was like not even up to my waist.... she was tiny. Haha but it was great. Lots of great things are happening here. This church is true, and i know that Joseph Smith was the Prophet of our dispensation. He truly saw God the Father and the Son! Elder Davis my MTC comp wrote me, i miss him. He is awesome. Sorry its short again, i sure do love you guys though. I will keep you all in my prayers. Grandma i love you so much! I love all of you so much!!!
Love,
Elder Riding
