"The MTC is da Bomb!"

Well, he's been in the MTC for a few days now and we got our first letter from Elder Riding. Sounds like he's really enjoying the experience already! His first companion is named Elder Davis, from Dixon, Missouri. "We actually get along real well; we clicked right off the bat. He even took four years of Spanish in high school so he will really be a help."

Michael ran into his buddy Elder (Cameron) Weston at dinner his first day at the MTC and they were able to eat together, while Cameron gave Michael and his companion the low down on all the ins and outs of the MTC. It was a good thing they found each other that day because Elder Weston left for Salt Lake the next day at 7:30 am. He was in the MTC for twelve weeks and is still waiting for his visa! "Poor guy." (That's what Michael said...)

Every missionary is given a bag full of books on the first day and when Michael opened his bag he found a little note from another of his buddies, Elder Tate Brinton, welcoming him to the MTC. Michael thought that was "pretty cool". (Tate got to the MTC a week or two before Michael.) Tate is such a sweetheart! Haha. I know Tate. I can say that!

More stuff from the letter:
"I had to get a shot today cuz we had not gotten all my shots back home...Haha but it's okay! The lady said 'what does a bumblebee do?' (just before she stuck the needle in me!)...then she answered 'they sting you!' just like Hepatitis 'B' haha lame joke..."

...

"PS The MTC is da Bomb!"

"PSS Church is true, I love you, and God does too!!"
